XGEN Youth Basketball Trainers

Meet Our Team

When it comes to selecting trainers, we not only require a high degree of skill in certain aspects of basketball, but also someone with the right temperament and experience to properly assess the client’s current skill set and deficiencies without destroying their confidence. A trainer must be firm and even tough at times, while still fostering a belief in one’s capabilities and steadily enhancing the existing skill level of a youth basketball player.

Darren Fenn

Owner

Darren Fenn is a former professional basketball player interested in all aspects of player development and coaching. He has worked with and trained grammar school, high school, collegiate and professional players during 14 seasons professionally. Competing in places like Belgium, France, Russia, Bosnia, Japan, Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany and Romania has not only allowed him to see the world and experience different cultures and belief systems, but has also opened his eyes to many alternate views and styles on how to play and teach this game he loves.

Coach Fenn uses individual assessment, evaluation and planning for measurable gains in the sport you or your child loves. His focus is to magnify strengths while addressing weaknesses and improve athleticism. Whether it’s making the team, playing on varsity or playing collegiate basketball, his question to you is: How badly do you want it? When it comes to improving your game, Coach Fenn is all in.
