XGEN Referee Association

🏀 There are two (2) levels in the XRA:

1. Certified XRA Official – Once XGEN qualifies you (6 week on site certification and training process), you become a Certified XRA Official
2. Certified XRA Official with Trainer Credentials – An opportunity to not only referee games, but also train youth players in our XGEN Academy. (Those who qualify wishing for trainer credentials will undergo an apprenticeship which is a longer time frame than the XRA stand-alone certification)

🏀 The minimum age requirement is 16. The XRA program is perfect for anyone with a passion and an interest – from the high school basketball player to the retired postal worker and everyone in between. It is a great opportunity to get paid to be involved in something you love. This is the perfect side hustle for someone looking to make steady weekly income or a great part time job for an active high school or college student.

🏀 Guaranteed work. XGEN runs over 12 leagues and 10-12 tournaments a year. Once certified you will be added to the pool of refs that XGEN uses and guaranteed to work as much or as little as you like. For those that qualify with the added “trainer credential”, you also have an opportunity to participate as a trainer with XGEN in our various camps, clinics and our Academy.

🏀 You will not only be able to referee in XGEN-sponsored tournaments and events, but also outside tournaments and events that contract with XGEN. Having the XRA certification will mean that you are among the elite officials available in the market – and such credentials will be in high demand.
